Your toddler matches pot lids to the pots they fit, an early sise-and-shape matching game played with real kitchen objects.
How to do it
- Set out two or three pots of clearly different sizes with their lids beside them.
- Sit on the floor with your toddler and the pots between you.
- Show them once how a lid sits on the pot it fits.
- Hand them a lid and let them try it on the pots until it fits.
- Let them mix and match as long as they like, then stack the pots away together.
