A family guessing game where each player brings a claim, some real and some made up, and everyone hunts for sources to decide what is true before voting. Points go to whoever fools the group and to whoever catches a bluff.
How to do it
- Each player secretly prepares two or three short claims, mixing real ones they have seen online with a made-up one designed to sound believable.
- On a turn, one player reads a claim aloud and the others get a few minutes to look it up and hunt for who is behind each source they find.
- Before anyone says an answer, each guesser privately decides true or bluff and how sure they are, then all reveal their votes together.
- The presenter says which it was and shows a source; award a point for each guesser fooled and a point to each guesser who caught a real bluff.
- Pass to the next presenter, and after a few rounds talk about which tricks made a fake claim believable and which sources turned out to be reliable.

Younger or still developing this (works down to a concrete 8-9 years level): An adult prepares the claims and keeps them to one simple checkable fact each, such as whether an animal really does something, and the child just looks it up on one trusted site and votes true or false. This keeps the find-and-check fun while dropping the harder source-weighing. Older, 12 years and up: Add a rule that catching a bluff only scores if the player can name why the source is weak, and let players challenge each other's sources. Solo or pairs: With one child, take turns with an adult presenting claims to each other, or play it cooperatively hunting down one tricky claim together.
