What ages is the discovery day recommended for?
The discovery day is listed for children aged 3 to 12. Bird Paradise has several large open aviaries, so it helps to walk slowly at first and let younger children get comfortable with birds flying nearby before heading into the busier enclosures.
Are there scheduled presentations to plan around?
Bird Paradise runs several bird shows at fixed times during the day. Picking up a printed schedule at the entrance when you arrive makes it easy to plan which zones to visit first and which show times to aim for.
