Before you go
Is this free to attend?
Meet the Joyful Voices! is listed as free to attend. You may need to register a place. Check the link in the planning panel before you go.
Do we need to book a place?
It is worth checking the Esplanade listing for Meet the Joyful Voices before you go. Octoburst performances at the Concourse can fill up fast, and some sessions require a reservation even when there is no ticket cost.
How long is the performance?
The session runs for around 30 minutes. It is a good length for school-aged children: short enough to hold energy through to the end, and long enough to feel like a proper live performance.
Is this suitable for very young children?
The Joyful Voices is a children's choir, so the sound is lively and carries well through the Concourse space. If your child finds group singing or louder acoustics overwhelming, ear defenders are a practical thing to pack.
Is this right for our ages?
This event is listed for 0 months to 18 years. If your child is outside this range, check with the organiser before attending.
