MAKE A LITTLE TIME FOR TOGETHER
The Royal Palace of Luang Prabang, now operating as the National Museum of Luang Prabang, stands on Sisavangvong Road in the heart of the old town. Built in 1904 during the French colonial period, the palace combines traditional Lao and Beaux-Arts architecture and houses royal artefacts, ceremonial objects, and the revered Pha Bang Buddha image. Families visit for the historical buildings, the palace grounds, and an introduction to Lao royal history.
