Historic French colonial performance venue in central Saigon

The Saigon Opera House at 7 Cong Truong Lam Son is a French colonial-era building constructed in the early twentieth century and now used as Ho Chi Minh City's Municipal Theatre. The venue hosts a range of performances including classical music, contemporary dance, traditional Vietnamese arts, and touring productions. It is located in the heart of District 1 on Lam Son Square.

Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater

The Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater at 55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, District 1, presents Vietnamese water puppetry, a traditional performing art originating from the Red River Delta region. Performances take place on a water stage with puppets operated by hidden puppeteers, accompanied by live traditional music. The theater is one of the primary dedicated venues for this art form in Ho Chi Minh City.
